Teenie Beanie Babies are miniature Beanie Babies sold separately or included with Happy Meals at McDonalds promotions in the USA
in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2009. There were similar promotions in Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Japan,
Malaysia and Singapore.
- 1997 USA (April 11 - May 15)
10 different Teenie Beanies, one included with each Happy Meal purchase.
- 1998 USA (May 22 - June 18)
12 different Teenie Beanies, one included with each Happy Meal purchase.
- 1998 CANADA
10 different Teenie Beanies from the 1998 USA promotion.
- 1999 USA (May 21 - June 18)
16 different Teenie Beanies, one included with each Happy Meal purchase. Four from this promotion
were International Bears that were larger than normal Teenie Beanies but smaller than Beanie Babies. They were available from
June 4 to June 18 for $2.49 each with the purchase of any regularly priced menu item. There was also a specially packaged
Glory, available exclusively for McDonalds employees.
- 1999 CANADA
16 different Teenie Beanies, the same as the 1999 USA promotion (including the McDonalds employee exclusive Glory).
- 1999 GERMANY
12 different Teenie Beanies, the same as the 1998 USA promotion except that the USA Happy had been renamed
Percival and Bongo had been renamed Mitch for the Germany promotion.
- 1999 UK (April 21)
12 different Teenie Beanies, one included with each Happy Meal purchase. These were the same as the 1998
USA promotion except that the USA Happy had been renamed Percival for the UK promotion.
- 2000 USA (June 13 - June 30)
29 different Teenie Beanies. The promotion began with Millennium, on June 13th and ended with
The
End, available only on June 30. There was also a specially packaged Millennium available exclusively for McDonalds
employees.
- 2000 USA (October 25 - November 9)
American Trio Teenie Beanie Promotion; three different election themed Teenie Beanies with
any regularly priced menu item for $2.49 each.
- 2000 CANADA
32 different Teenie Beanies, the same as the 2000 USA promotions (including the McDonalds employee exclusive
Millennium).
- 2000 JAPAN (October 26 kick-off)
8 of the 16 Teenie Beanies from the 2000 USA promotion.
- 2001 AUSTRALIA
10 different Teenie Beanies from the 2000 USA promotion.
- 2004 USA
12 different Teenie Beanies. This year, each one was a different McDonalds product or character that had not
previously been made as a Beanie Baby (except Ronald McDonald).
- 2004 CANADA
12 different Teenie Beanies matching the 2004 USA promotion except that USA's Happy Meal bear was for the 25th
anniversary of Happy Meals, and Canada's Happy Meal bear was for the 10th. But Happy Meals had been available in Canada for
more than 10 years, so it is unclear what the Happy Meal 10th in Canada was designed to celebrate. It may have been an error,
but Ty has not explained the mystery.

30 different Teenie Beanies 2.0. The promotion ran from July 17 through August 13 to celebrate the 30th anniversary
of the Happy Meal. Consumers could play online with their 2.0 Teenie Beanie Babies at the McDonalds and Ty Internet sites.
