Ty created TyTips fabric especially for the Punkies product line that was introduced in June, 2002. TyTips is a soft, shaggy, silky-feeling fabric with a unique texture. Only 51 different animals were produced for this family line. The last two Punkies to retire were Siren and Lil' Siren on January 4, 2007. The Punkies come in various sizes. The two largest are Great Big Hugz and Great Big Kiss. These two bears are approximately 52 inches tall and quite impressive in appearance. Although the product line is retired, Punkies continue to be favorites with children and adult collectors. With a bit of patience and diligence it is still possible to find all of the Punkies on the secondary market for someone who desires to have a complete collection.
