ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Monstaz were silently introduced through 15 select stores in Columbus, Ohio, in
early November 2011. The general release versions were officially announced in
the Ty catalog on January 2, 2012, and shipped to Ty retailers nationwide near
the end of January 2012.
The general release version of Maxine (key-clip) has several noticeable
differences from the test-market version.
1. The "LUV ME" embroidered patch has been removed.
2. The eyes are smaller on the general release version.
3. The chin seam does not bisect the mouth on the general release version.
4. The fur on the general release version feels slightly silkier than the test-market version.
5. The loop holding the key-clip is white on test market version &
lime on general release version.
6. The hands and feet are more detailed on the general release version.
7. The tush tag on the general release version is narrower than the test-market version.
8. Maxine has a new poem and birthday (above) that previously belonged to test-market
Benny.
